Rockhurst University celebrated the inauguration of Sandra Cassady, Ph.D., as its 15th president Friday, Nov. 11, 2022. Thank you for joining the campus community for this historic and joyous occasion.

Rockhurst Welcomes Sandra Cassady

Rockhurst University inaugurated Sandra Cassady, Ph.D., as its new president on November 11 in front of a crowd of students, faculty, staff, family, friends, and members of the greater Kansas City community. Cassady is the 15th president in the 112-year history of the university, as well as the first woman and first layperson to serve as president.
