Program Description
Adding a minor in theatre arts to a Rockhurst University degree can be a highly valuable educational decision. While the minor has an emphasis on performing arts, courses in technical theatre elements, direction and script analysis combine to add a well-rounded perspective to a related degree.

The theatre arts minor is committed to a broad-based, liberal arts approach that combines knowledge and experiential learning in order to develop the student’s abilities to think creatively, critically, and collaboratively. Students in the theatre arts minor will have the opportunity to be part of the Rockhurst Players, who present four shows per academic year.
Outcomes
- Graduates who add a minor in theatre to certain degrees open themselves up to career paths such as theatre and artist management
