After receiving your I-20, follow these steps:
Review and Sign Your I-20
Confirm that all information is correct and sign the document.
Pay the SEVIS I-901 Fee
This is required before applying for your visa.
Apply for Your F-1 Visa
Unless you are a citizen of Canada or Bermuda, you are required to attend an F-1 student visa interview. Directions for how to apply can be found on the U.S. Department of State website.

Arrange Housing and Enroll in Classes
Students who have an approved visa can pay their enrollment deposit, enroll in courses, and sign up for housing. On-campus housing options are available. First- and second-year students are required to live on campus.
Book Your Travel
You may enter no earlier than 30 days before your program start date on your I-20. Suggested arrival dates will be emailed to you. Confirm that your destination is Kansas City International Airport (MCI). Rockhurst University is approximately 35 minutes from the airport. ISS does not currently offer airport pickups. You will need to arrange transportation.
Fill Out the Arrival Form
Transfer students must also complete this form.
Please note: All students are required to attend mandatory International Student Orientation. You will receive an email with the date and time; this information will also be listed on the Arrival Form.
