The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program accommodates and encourages multiple points of entry for prospective students:
DPT Traditional Entry
Students who have completed all prerequisite coursework and earned a bachelor's degree by the end of the spring semester prior to beginning the DPT program start are encouraged to apply. (More information)
DPT Early Assurance Entry
Students who plan to attend Rockhurst for their undergraduate bachelor's degree may be awarded a seat in the DPT program based on a combination of ACT or SAT scores, high school GPA, prerequisite courses, and interviews. (More information)
DPT Post-Baccalaureate Students
Students from accredited universities are welcome to apply to Rockhurst. Typically, students apply while in the last year of their undergraduate degree with a plan to enter the graduate program upon the degree's completion. (More information)
DPT Articulation Agreements
Rockhurst University has partnered with Avila University, Truman State University, Missouri Western State University, University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) and Lindenwood University to offer seats in the Rockhurst Doctor of Physical Therapy program to students with outstanding academic qualifications.
