The Bernadette and Richard Miller Scholarship
Accepting Scholarship Applications
Incoming freshman and transfer students who are interested in continuing community service and service to Campus Ministry at Rockhurst University. In the words of Mr. Richard Miller, “we hope to create a greater awareness that each of us must live for others and especially the “least of our brethren”.
The Bernadette and Richard Miller scholarship will be awarded to a select group of incoming Rockhurst University students each year. The recipients are leaders in service and demonstration dedication to their faith. During their time at Rockhurst University, Miller scholarship recipients are expected to complete 30 hours of service within the academic year and participate in one (1) of the following for spiritual growth:

one of four (4) annual retreats offered by Campus Ministry

a Rockhurst University solidarity-immersion trip

lector/Eucharistic/music/altar server ministry at student masses

leadership/participation in SEEK Interfaith Council

The application requires a service resume and an essay on most impactful service experience.
