- About
The Helzberg MBA is all about adding value to your education by allowing you to build and customize a degree that makes sense for your future. Certificates on their own hold value in the workforce by helping you meet your career goals sooner. By stacking two earned certificates along with the foundational, Business Administration Certificate, you will be working toward a full MBA degree.
Our faculty has developed the foundational curriculum of one of the best MBA programs in Kansas City into a stand-alone certificate – the Business Administration certificate. This, along with two additional specialized certificates, make up the Helzberg MBA. Students earn a custom MBA with specializations in areas that are selected and flexible based on the direction you want your career to go.
This reconceptualized degree developed out of the Jesuit tradition, encouraged our faculty to listen to our students and reflect on their needs as well as those of their future employers. The Helzberg faculty are committed to providing a graduate business education that serves its community by crafting thoughtful and well-rounded leaders.
Built for YOU:
- Online, hybrid or in-person evening courses
- Start with a single certificate or take all three at the same time
- 8-week rolling schedule: each course only takes about 2 months to complete
Flexibility has been built into every facet of the Helzberg Stackable MBA:
- First, you choose which certificates make up your MBA. This not only makes for a unique degree that helps you stand out, but also allows you to focus your energy on classes that truly inspire you.
- Second, you can work toward completing the certificates simultaneously OR you can work toward one certificate at a time. Start your studies with any certificate! You can progress through your chosen stack of certificates simultaneously or stop and start, earning certificates as you need them.
- Third, our faculty are constantly making classes more approachable by holding them online, asynchronously, and in the evenings.
Anyone interested in completing the Helzberg MBA will complete the Business Administration Certificate, which includes courses in management, marketing, business intelligence, and economics. A distinction of this certificate is a Jesuit Core values course that you choose from four offerings: Leaders for Others, Spirituality and Values in Leadership, Ethical Leadership, and Corporate Social Responsibility. This is how Rockhurst brings the Jesuit culture to business.
