Advanced Leadership Certificate

The Advanced Leadership Certificate is a set of courses targeting critical leadership, communication, and management skills to improve and build leadership capability.

Program Overview

The ALC is a 10-credit-hour program that is more focused and targeted than a degree program but also more comprehensive and developmental than a training module.

Adapting the Helzberg School’s proven business and leadership curriculum, the program delivers a potent learning experience adapted to the time constraints and budgets of busy professionals. The certificate program is made up of eight courses that capture the critical skills of leading, communicating and managing for results.

Who Should Participate in the Open Enrollment ALC?

Experienced & High-Potential Managers:

These are people in charge of units. High potential refers to inexperienced managers who are, or a company has identified, as having high potential to continue in the role and, perhaps, advance to more senior roles.

Team Leads & Supervisors:

These are people with additional responsibilities for a specific area or sub-unit, but aren’t involved in any significant planning. They do tend, however, to influence team or individual performance.

January 23, January 24 (morning only), February 27, March 27, April 24

Block 3 – Leading Change, Networking

June 5, June 26

All classes are on Fridays and take place in the Helzberg School’s executive classroom in Conway Hall.

Class times are typically 8-5, but some days might be shorter. Since classes are hybrid, asynchronous online instructional activities may take place between sessions.
