Photography and videography at Rockhurst University are excellent tools to visually portray the authenticity of our on-campus community, the academic landscape at RU and engagement with the greater Kansas City community and beyond. If you need a photography or videography project, please fill out our Marketing Request Form.
University Marketing has staff members who are available to take photographs for events. Please note that the use of staff photographers is reserved for shoots that will produce photos suitable for official University marketing initiatives, at the discretion of University marketing staff. For all other shoots we are unable to accommodate, we will offer you the option to hire an outside photographer or provide instructions on how best to capture the photographs on your own device.
Video and Photo Permission
The Office of University Marketing and Communications routinely shoots still and video photography throughout campus for university news, marketing and recruiting purposes. These photographs may be used in print publications, on the Rockhurst website or Rockhurst social media platforms and those on our campus hereby consent to allowing Rockhurst University to use such still and video photography in the manner provided above. Selected photography will endeavor to portray subjects in a positive manner.
If you do NOT wish to have your photograph used in Rockhurst University materials, please let the photographer or videographer know of your wishes or simply step out of the photograph.
For photo and video shoots, releases must be signed by everyone whose image will be used in University Marketing materials, social media or for other on-campus uses.
