Donnelly College - Data Analytics Intern for Marketing and Enrollment

I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to intern at Donnelly College. It has given me a much better view of what the data analytics industry is like. I know I will encounter challenges, because this is not an easy field, if it were, I am sure everyone would do it. However, I have come to realize that the challenges are what lead me to choose the career. Being able to solve problems using math and technology fascinate me, and I know I have a great future as a data scientist or a data analyst.

In the future, I hope to start my own data analytics company. I know that if the day comes, I will be able to apply the experience I gained as an intern at Donnelly College.

When I first started interning, my main goal was to improve my coding skills. As the end is quickly approaching, I realize that my coding skill have improved tremendously. Donnelly College has provided me with a great working environment, and it had once again supported me into becoming a better version of myself.

These last moments of my undergraduate career have been nothing short of bittersweet. Although I am eagerly looking forward finally getting some well-deserved rest and looking forward to applying what I have learned in the real world, I will miss being in the classroom. Education has been a passion of mine since a young girl and to live a life without it seems a bit scary, but I believe I am as prepared as I am going to be. My journey at Rockhurst University has been nothing short of wonderful and surprisingly swift. Before this internship I deemed a lot of the information that I was taught as irrelevant or useless, but one thing this internship has taught me is that I still have a lot of learning to do.
