Rockhurst University has partnered with Kansas City University to develop the new Rockhurst University – Kansas City University Early Acceptance Program (ROKC-EAP). Through this exclusive partnership, a select group of qualifying Rockhurst University students will be admitted to KCU’s graduate medical programs at the same time they are accepted to Rockhurst University as a high school senior.

Consideration for acceptance into the ROKC-EAP program is based on the following criteria:
- ACT composite of 28 or higher with a math sub-score of 22 or higher or SAT composite of 1310 or higher with a math SAT of 540 or higher
- Cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher and a minimum 3.50 GPA in math and science courses on an unweighted 4.00 scale
- Evidence of extracurricular activities, with an emphasis in community service and leadership
- Completion of a minimum 3 years of mathematics – including algebra and trigonometry
- Completion of a minimum 3 years of sciences – including biology and chemistry
- Personal statement
Once accepted into the ROKC-EAP Program, students must:
- Complete their undergraduate degree at RU before matriculating to KCU.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and a science coursework GPA of 3.50 or higher, both on a 4.00 scale while at RU. Failure to meet these GPA requirements may result in disqualification from the program.
- Earn a grade of C or better in the following courses at Rockhurst University:
- Biological Sciences: completion of a Biology (Molecular track) degree
- Chemistry: 16 lower-level hours – including a year of general chemistry and a year of organic chemistry with associated labs
- Biochemistry: 3 hours
- Physics: 8 hours
- English Composition/Literature: 6 hours

Late deadline: January 15, 2025 – applications reviewed if space is available
3. Qualified students may be invited to interview with the Rockhurst University Pre-Health Program Directors and KCU faculty, as available, during the winter of their senior year of high school.
