Rockhurst University is home to one of the highest-quality medical laboratory science programs in Missouri. We offer a Bachelor of Science degree in medical laboratory sciences in cooperation with Saint Luke’s Hospital, North Kansas City Hospital and University Health.
A student who transfers to Rockhurst and is not majoring in nursing with either a completed Associate of Science (hereafter AS) degree or Associate of Arts (hereafter AA) degree from a regionally accredited college or university, a completed Bachelor of Art (BA) or a completed Bachelor of Science (BS) from a regionally accredited university or college or with a completed Missouri CORE 42 (C42) from a regionally accredited two- or four-year participating institution will not complete the lower-division courses of the Foundation of the Rockhurst Wisdom Core Curriculum.
Engineering majors (civil, electrical and mechanical) often work in engineering services, research and development, construction or manufacturing and perform tasks centered around design, development and building. Internships and other forms of practical experience are available in engineering services companies, aviation, construction, transportation and government agencies. Computer science majors work in designing computer technology, developing code for software programs, in web content management, analyzing computer systems and/or providing troubleshooting services.

More than 800 students will earn their degrees from Rockhurst University in front of loved ones during the annual commencement ceremony scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri.
