- Start Anytime: You may enter the program during the fall, spring or summer.
Certificate Requirements
The certificate requires 18 credit hours of coursework with a grade of C or better, including four required courses (PA 2000, PA 3400, PA 3600 and PA 4000) and at least six credit hours of elective paralegal courses. Courses may be applied as elective hours toward a bachelor's degree at Rockhurst University. Students with previous college work should request that an official transcript be sent to the director of transfer admission.

This option provides you with an additional professional credential, and the courses required for the minor may be applied toward the certificate program. As the profession becomes more diversified, paralegals with a variety of skills and backgrounds are in high demand.
