A Culture of Philanthropy

University President at service project

Rockhurst University is not your typical place of work. Our roles extend far beyond any title or job description.

Here, it’s about treating one another with immense respect. It’s about going the extra mile to help a fellow faculty or staff member in need. Staying late to help a student rushing to speak with you. Listening to an alumna who wants to share her story. And so much more.

Ours is a culture of Magis, which means we’re always striving to be more. Go above and beyond our traditional duties for the greater good. We give more of ourselves to enhance the lives of others and, in turn, bring purpose to our own lives. In short, it’s the Jesuit way of proceeding.

3 Ways You Can Make a Difference

  1. Apply to help lead students on a service-immersion trip.
  2. Give to RU through our annual Faculty and Staff Campaign.
  3. Volunteer to help at an upcoming event.
