DPT/MA Dual-degree Program

Dual Degree Program - Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Business Administration degree (DPT/MBA) 

Rockhurst University’s College of Business, Influence, and Information Analysis (BIIA) has collaborated with the Physical Therapy Program to offer a dual degree program, DPT/MA.  The dual DPT/MA program provides leadership and management concepts to successfully manage a team, department or organization.  Students seeking this dual degree will follow the course sequence for the DPT, and complete the following requirements in the MA program before graduation. 

Program Features

• Program consists of 32 Master of Arts in management credit hours – 2 credit hours less than traditional MA program.
• Less total credit hours means a cost savings of approximately $1,600
• Complete BOTH degrees within three years
• Most courses are two-credit-hour, eight-week courses that meet one night per week; some courses are offered online
• Prepares DPT students to lead, manage and take on administrative roles within the industry
