The Health Care Management Certificate is designed for health care administrators, nurses, physicians, dentists, medical assistants and health insurance professionals, just to name a few medical jobs. If you want to enhance your management skills in the health care industry, then this certificate program is perfect for you.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that by 2020 the demand for health administration professionals will increase by more than 20%.
Graduate Certificate Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Health Care Management Certificate program in Kansas City, students will be able to:

With ONLINE classes that fit your schedule, the average program completion time is just 12 months. Students select a minimum of 12 credit hours from the following course list:
- HC 6150: Health Care Systems (2 credit hours)
- HC 6260: Medical Practice Management (2 credit hours)
- HC 6300: Health Policy (2 credit hours)
- HC 6350: Quality Improvement in Health Care (2 credit hours)
- HC 6400: Health Information Technology (2 credit hours)
- One 6000-level management class of your choice OR BIA 6300 Business Intelligence (2 credit hours)
Certificate Program Information and Requirements
- No GMAT or GRE scores required
- Classes begin in January, March, June, August and October.
- The certificate requires 12 credit hours of coursework
- Networking and career services opportunities are available to all students
Apply This Certificate Toward a Degree
The Health Care Management Certificate can be a stand-alone credential or the graduate credits may be applied toward a Helzberg MBA or MA degree.
