Michael Naughton, Ph.D.,  will be the guest of the Visiting Scholar Lecture Series, presenting “Rediscovering Liberal Education: Its Role in Renewing the University and the Larger Culture.”

Naughton, the Koch Chair in Catholic Studies at the University of St. Thomas, will explore what a liberal arts education truly is, why it remains vital despite current challenges, and how it is inseparable from a holistic Catholic understanding of what it means to be an educated person.
