“Long COVID: Understanding POTS and Post-Exertional Malaise”
Presenter: Jenna Hopkins, OT
Special recognition: Kelly Meiners, PT, Ph.D.
Join us for the Ellen Spake Spring Lecture Series as we explore the ongoing impacts of long COVID, with a focus on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Post-Exertional Malaise. This talk will offer insight into how these conditions affect daily life and recovery, as well as emerging approaches to understanding and managing symptoms.
Attendees are invited to arrive on campus at 5:30 p.m. to view Inner Lines, an art exhibition by Kelly Meiners, PT, Ph.D., on display in the Greenlease Art Gallery (located in the building between Sedgwick Hall and Van Ackeren Hall).
The lecture will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Science Center, Room 115.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening that brings together art, science, and meaningful conversation!
