Biography
Dr. Guadarrama is committed to her teaching and to providing leadership in her department. She has a strong sense of responsibility to use her expertise to create mathematics outreach opportunities in the community. She has written math curriculum, given talks, designed workshops for teachers to help them bring mathematical inquiry into their classes, and created a range of programs to introduce the community to meaningful, beautiful and enjoyable mathematics, among them Mathapalooza. Dr. Guadarrama lives a life in which people, nature, art, play, and mathematics are essential, and are best when combined.
