- About
Service is an integral part of the student experience at Rockhurst University. Service is not required for graduation; however, all students, staff and faculty are invited to serve as called to by the mission and vision of the university. Through service, Rockhurst students come to ask questions about injustices in our society. Service is at the heart of Jesuit education because through service we use the gifts we have developed and put them into action to make a difference in the world, making it a better place for us all.
Engage Rockhurst is the volunteer engagement resource we use to post volunteer opportunities, log hours, and connect to community organizations. You can access the site through the Rockhurst Portal or go directly to Engage Rockhurst.
There are many opportunities to serve. Please visit the Center for Service Learning to find out more information about these or other local organizations.
