2012 Case VI Awards
Rockhurst University was recently recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District VI institutional awards for the creative work it’s done this year.
The University collected four awards in the contest, which recognizes the work done for the advancement of higher education institutions within the district. The sixth district includes schools in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
Rockhurst won three gold medals: Traditional video in the fundraising programs category for its Project 700 video series; individual student recruitment publications in the communications and marketing programs category for its YOU campaign view book; overall campaign in the fundraising programs category for the Project 700 Alumni Challenge campaign. The University also won bronze in the institutional website category for the redesign of www.rockhurst.edu.
"These award-winning projects demonstrate the dynamic work our Public Relations and Marketing team is doing to help Rockhurst University attract students, boost our fundraising efforts and raise our visibility in the community," said Rockhurst University President the Rev. Thomas B. Curran. "This external validation of our work by peer communications and advancement professionals at other universities tells us we are on the right track with our strategic public relations and marketing efforts."
The awards will be presented to the University during the annual CASE VI conference, Dec. 9-11 in Chicago.
