Rockhurst University Celebrates World Cultures Day
Rockhurst University celebrates more than 40 countries and cultures with food, music and prayer during World Cultures Day, 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Convocation Center.
Students and faculty bring the world to Rockhurst through activities that showcase their home culture or countries of interest. The event will feature a multicultural prayer service at 11 a.m., the International Fair of exhibits featuring food from more than 40 countries, and a musical performance by the Sinag-Tala Performing Arts Troupe from the Filipino Association of Greater Kansas City.
All of the World Cultures Day events are free and open to the public. The Convocation Center is located north of the soccer field on Rockhurst University Campus, 54th Street and Troost Avenue.
