Presidential Debate Watch Parties
Learn what well-informed students on all sides of the political spectrum are thinking when they gather as a group to watch the series of presidential debates.
For the Oct. 16 debate, Student Senate, Pi Sigma Alpha, the Dean of Students Office, and the Political Science Department are putting a little twist on the watch party. Before and after the debate, student leaders will use classroom clickers to poll students on their choice of candidates, to see if the debate swayed any minds.
The debate will begin at 8 p.m. in the Rock Room. For a little more fun, a compilation of Saturday Night Live clips of presidential impersonations will be shown half an hour prior to the debates.
The next debate watch party will be held at 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22.
