Mayors Forum - The Pursuit of Innovation Through a Civil Discourse

State lines don’t have to be divisive. Two highly respected mayors from our region, Sly James of Kansas City, Mo., and Joe Reardon from the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kan., demonstrated the power of unity during the Mayors’ Forum Tuesday, Aug. 9.

The mayors, both Rockhurst graduates, spoke before an enthusiastic crowd at the Convocation Center, swapping stories, sharing philosophies and discussing civility, regionalism, collaboration, success, opportunity and Google.
