Rockhurst University Lecture Focuses on Women in Leadership
Dana Abraham, president of UMB Investment and Wealth Management, UMB Bank, n.a., will present “A Business Case for Promoting Women into Leadership Positions: How women stand poised to transform our workplace with centered leadership” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, in the Rev. James D. Wheeler, S.J., Science Center, Room 115.
Abraham will share success stories of leading women and how they have practiced the centered leadership model. She will also discuss the five dimensions that comprise this model, which can benefit both men and women who are interested in tapping into their best qualities to engage, inspire and motivate others in a professional environment.
This lecture is presented by the Helzberg School of Management Center for Leadership and Ethics and Sullivan Chair in Ethics at Rockhurst University. The Rev. James D. Wheeler, S.J., Science Center is located on the Rockhurst University Campus, 54th Street and Troost Avenue.
