Quincy scored an unearned run in the second inning to edge Rockhurst 2-1 in the second game. Ryan Porter singled home RU’s lone run in the third. Scott Bradbury and Derrick Jones each posted two hits. Mark Sappington (7-3) took the loss, striking out five in seven innings.

The Hawks (27-15, 17-12 GLVC) return home to face Illinois Springfield in a pair of doubleheaders, May 5-6.
