COVID-Related Information for This Week
Rockhurst Student, Faculty and Staff Companions,
We have great news to report this week! Our case numbers are extremely low and are zero in most of the categories we measure. This is due, in part, to the attentiveness all of you have shown to our pandemic protocols and to the decision of many to get vaccinated. Most vaccinators are working to make it even more convenient for people in terms of times and locations, so opportunities are plentiful.
COVID Vaccinations
- We are pleased to report that 577 employees and students have received a full course of the vaccine. We continue to encourage everyone on campus to get vaccinated to protect each other and our loved ones from the virus.
- If you receive a COVID vaccination, please notify the University after you receive the second (or sole in the case of Johnson & Johnson) dose by completing this COVID-19 vaccine form. The information will be used in aggregate to determine how many students and how many employees have been vaccinated.
- There are many opportunities throughout the area to get vaccinated. One is this Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Smith-Hale Middle School at 9010A Old Santa Fe Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Walk-ins are welcome or you can reserve an appointment at KCMO.gov/coronavirus.
- Vaccine availability information for both Missouri and Kansas can be found on the Jackson County website. You can also visit this Kansas City website link to find appointment locations in Kansas City, as well as vaccine safety information.
Important Reminders
- Remember to submit the Illness and Exposure Reporting Form immediately If you find out you are COVID positive, you have COVID symptoms, or have been in close contact with a COVID-positive person. Thank you!
Positive and Quarantined Cases
Our community cases continue to remain very low and stable across all categories and populations. For undergraduate students on both campuses, cases remain low. There are no graduate student or faculty and staff cases to report on either campus.
