50 Years of Women's Athletics

All Hawks fans are invited to be part of a milestone celebration weekend honoring 50 years of intercollegiate athletics at Rockhurst University! The weekend will include many opportunities for alumni and fans to celebrate their favorite women's athletics programs, cheer on the Hawks in women's lacrosse and softball, and the official blue carpet celebration program!

Friday, April 12

• ​Welcome Luncheon Hosted by Dr. Sandy Cassady, President of Rockhurst University (Noon, Location TBD)
• Campus Tours (2 p.m., Massman Hall)
• Pregame Happy Hour (TBD, Magis Activity Center)
• Women's Lacrosse vs. Maryville (TBD, Bourke Field)

Saturday, April 13*

• Breakfast and Student-Athlete Panel - "Being A Student-Athlete in 2024" (9:30 a.m., Magis Activity Center)
• Softball Doubleheader vs. Quincy - (Noon & 2 p.m., Loyola Park)
• Blue Carpet Celebration Reception - (5:30 p.m., Pedro Arrupe, S.J., Hall)
• 50 Years of Women's Athletics Celebration Program (7 p.m., Arrupe Hall Auditorium)

*Additional activities to be added soon on Saturday afternoon for other women's sports programs including spring games, alumni scrimmages, and more!

Sunday, April 14

• Women's Lacrosse vs. McKendree (Noon, Bourke Field)
• Women's Softball Doubleheader vs. Illinois-Springfield (Noon & 2 p.m., Loyola Park)
