Film Series with the RU Philosophy Department: "Contact"

Please join us for a free screening of “Contact” (1997), hosted by Robert Vigliotti, Ph.D., Rockhurst University associate professor of philosophy. Based on a novel written by Carl Sagan, this is a science-fiction film directed by Robert Zemeckis is about researcher Dr. Ellie Arroway, (played by Jodie Foster) a scientist, who after years of searching for extra-terrestrial life, finds proof of existence and is selected to make the first contact.
