Film Series: The Beaches of Agnes

Please join us for FREE a virtual film screening and live discussion of the film The Beaches of Agnes (2008), with the Rockhurst University department of Modern Languages and hosted by Robert Vigliotti, Ph.D., Rockhurst University associate professor of philosophy. Directed by Agnès Varda (1928-2019), a major French filmmaker born in Belgium, this film features Varda reflecting on her life and cinema through varied means including clips from her films and commentary, recreations, interview, and artistic installments. Following the screening Katie Madigan, Rockhurst University professor of Modern Languages, will lead an online live discussion.
