Rockhurst University invites all Jesuit alumni and friends to this social event with a side of social justice.
Brooks Goedecker, Executive Director of the St. Louis Midtown Redevelopment Corporation has a proven track record of working in St. Louis alongside its institutions, its business community, and its residents to turn innovative community and economic development concepts into reality.
Brooks has a master’s degree in Social Work from Saint Louis University and a master’s degree in Non-Profit Management from Washington University. Brooks has taught courses in leadership, community development and nonprofit management as an adjunct professor in Saint Louis University’s School of Social Work.
Brooks will speak about redevelopment in St. Louis and how he approaches this work through the lens of Ignatian, Jesuit values. After the presentation, join Brooks and other leaders in St. Louis urban development at the newly-renovated (and heated!) UpBar rooftop patio for a social with local Jesuit alumni.
