Ride to the Rock
Don't miss the chance to learn everything you ever wanted to know about Rockhurst University and college life. Meet other prospective students as you Ride to the Rock to experience life at Rockhurst. You'll stay overnight in a residence hall with a current student and learn about admission, financial aid, different majors and college life. You'll also have opportunities to hear about Rockhurst athletics, explore extracurricular activities, tour the campus, meet with faculty from your area of academic interest and talk to current students about their Rockhurst experience.
Sunday, Nov. 13
3 p.m. — Welcome
3:30 p.m. — Campus Tour
5 p.m. — Leave for dinner and tour of Kansas City
8:30 p.m. — Free time with your room host
Monday, Nov. 14
8 a.m. — Breakfast (optional)
9 a.m. — Student life panel
10 a.m. — Meetings with faculty
11 a.m. — Wrap-up
11:30 a.m. — Athletic recruiting Q&A (optional)
Noon — Pick up lunch and depart
What to Bring
You'll stay overnight in a residence hall with a current Rockhurst student, so plan to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, bath towel and any other personal items you will need.
You'll depart from McDonald's at I-70 and Highway 63 (Clark Lane) at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13. The bus will return at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14. The cost is $35.
You'll depart from McDonald's at 4219 U.S. Highway 169 at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13. The bus will return at 1 p.m., Nov. 14.
You'll depart from the Crossroads Mall (72nd and Dodge Street) from the parking lot near Barnes and Noble at 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 13. The bus will return to the same location between 3:30 and 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 14. The cost is $35.
You'll depart from the Dillard's Parking lot at Chesterfield Mall (off Highway 40) at 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. The bus will return to the same spot on Monday, Nov. 14, between 4 and 4:30 p.m. The cost is $35.
Students from the Kansas City area are also welcome to attend. Please arrive on campus by 3 p.m. The cost is $25.
