Leading with a Woman's Voice: A Conversation with Jesuit Educated Female Leaders

Female leaders, join us for an inspiring evening discussing women leadership with Jesuit Educated leaders. The evening will consist of a social and a panel of female leaders who will discuss their individual leadership journeys. We hope you leave feeling inspired to grow in your life and career!

Panel

Nancy Creasy '84- Nancy recently retired as Executive Vice President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) after 32 years of service. She currently serves on the Board of Blue KC, Rockhurst University Board of Trustees and the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission.

Nicole Jacobs-Silvey '92- Nicole Jacobs-Silvey is the President of Connection Coach KC, where she is a life coach, consultant and speaker. Nicole also works with not-for-profit boards to help them with the recruitment and retention of board members from diverse backgrounds. She is also the co-host of The Roundtable; a series of events that convene the community around crucial conversations and the co-founder of the Sisters’ Circle, a giving circle for African-American women. 

Megan Sneed '13- Megan is the Director of Inside Sales Operations at C2FO, Kansas City's first fintech unicorn. She graduated from Rockhurst in 2013 and served on the Rockhurst Board of Trustees as the Young Alumni from 2015-2017. 

Tania Tetlow, President of Loyola University New Orleans- Tania Tetlow, J.D., is the 17th president of Loyola University New Orleans. She is the first woman and the first layperson to lead Loyola. She joined Loyola in August, 2018. Previously, President Tetlow served as chief of staff and Professor of Law at Tulane where she served as Tulane’s inaugural associate provost for international affairs, and directed Tulane’s Domestic Violence Law Clinic. President Tetlow graduated cum laude from Tulane University in American studies and is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School as well as a Harry Truman Fellow.

6:00 p.m.- Welcome, Cindy Schmersal, VP for Mission and Ministry at Rockhurst

6:00-6:45 p.m.- Panel Discussion

6:45-7:00 p.m.- Open Q&A and Closing Reflection
