Join us for an evening of yoga, wellness and wine! Carissa Healy '92, will teach a yoga class and Gina Behm '15, will end the class with a mindfulness exercise in our new Magis Activity Center (The MAC).

After the class, enjoy wine, snacks and community in our newest building on campus. We will have an opportunity for guests to mingle with individuals from different areas of health and wellness as well. See who will be in attendance below!

Register today! Your $10 registration fee will cover the class as well as beverages and light snacks afterwards.

Meet the Health Professionals

Gina Behm, '15- Gina is a graduate of Rockhurst University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Program Director of Thalia House. She provides mental health counseling, specializes in eating disorders and women's wellness. She also works with trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions and communication issues within relationships. If you're interested in mental health or collaborative care in the community, be sure to stop be her table!

Ashley (Witte) Vollmar, '13, '16- Ashley is a double graduate of Rockhurst University. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science in 2013 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in 2016. She is a practicing Physical Therapist with a special training in Pelvic Health and Rehabilitation. She treats primarily women with pelvic pain, incontinence, pain during or following pregnancy, and more. She will have a pelvic floor model with her to explain the anatomy, how pelvic floor musculature plays apart in daily activities, and how to know if you may benefit from pelvic floor rehab. Stop by and check it out!

Ariel Johnston- Ariel is a registered dietician and owner of a private practice called The Tasty Balance. She specializes in treating those with eating disorders, intuitive eating, and those wanting to get off the enldess cycle of diets. Her belief is everything in moderation (includes chocolate and wine!). She says there is room in life for all kinds of foods and what is most important is finding a balance that includes what you love and allows you to live life without feeling restricted. She aims to empower women and girls while providing them with the nutrition information you need to know. You won't want to miss her! 

Annie Sexton, '15- Annie is a Rockhurst University alumna and is currently pursuing her DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). Check out her table to learn the benefits of chiropractic and informiaton on the science behind adjustments. 

Molly Curry, '93- Molly is a Rockhurst University alumna and is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She received her undergradute degree and Physical Therapy degree from Rockhurst.  She will be there talking all about the benefits of massages, so make sure to stop by and say hello!
