Congratulations on your enrollment at Rockhurst University! The Office of Student Life welcomes you to the Hawk family. The role of our office is to introduce you to RU and provide support during your transition. If you have already placed your deposit you will soon be receiving via U.S. Mail a newsletter and checklist with a great deal of information. Please review all the information for details on what to complete before classes begin.
New student orientation is your first experience at Rockhurst. Orientation will be held virtually on Monday, August 9 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm . Orientation explains what to expect from your Rockhurst experience and introduces you to resources, peers, faculty and staff. Please check your Rockhurst email weekly and watch your U.S. mail for a detailed Newsletter that will be mailed mid June. Due to COVID-19 many programs are being evaluated and altered and as soon as more is known, it will be posted here and emailed to you.
Transfer students have a choice of which Orientation they wish to attend. If you wish for a more traditional in person Orientation, please email Emma Rapp and let her know that you would like to particiate in the three day orientation. If you are living on campus this program is highly recommended. You can find the schedule and more information here.
Please be sure to RSVP for the virtual orientation here so that you will receive the Zoom Link for Orientation.
- We look forward to meeting you at an orientation! If you have any questions, call or email Emma Rapp at 816-501-4541
Please visit the New Student Checklist here . These are items that need to be completed before the first day of class to set you up for success!
