George Will

Acclaimed political commentator and columnist George F. Will will headline the inaugural event of the Rockhurst University Leadership Series when he presents “The Political Argument Today” at a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Downtown Marriott, Basie Ballroom, 200 W. 12th St.

The annual leadership series, sponsored by the Rockhurst University Leaders Council, will bring leaders from a variety of fields and viewpoints to Kansas City to generate discussion on noteworthy topics.

Will is a New York Times best-selling author whose popular column for The Washington Post syndicate reaches more than 400 newspapers throughout the United States and Europe. He will present commentary on the Washington political scene, offering a glimpse into what the future holds for public affairs, public policy, and leadership and ethics in American society.
