Skillet Tag to Debut at Rockhurst Plays-In-Progress Workshop
The original comedy Skillet Tag, by Peter Bakely, will receive its first public reading at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in Sedgwick Hall, Room 115, as part of the Rockhurst University Plays-In-Progress Workshop series.
Skillet Tag is set in a secluded lake house where a company manager has gathered his staff to participate in a required “team building” exercise. The exercise quickly deteriorates when employees’ long-standing rivalries culminate in life-and-death situations.
Following the reading, audience members are invited to discuss the play with the playwright, director and actors. The event is open to the public and free of charge. Donations will be accepted at the door and a reception follows the reading. Sedgwick Hall is located on the Rockhurst University campus, 54th Street and Troost Avenue.
