Men's Soccer: Sporting KC posts 2-0 win over Hawks

Sporting Kansas City posted a 2-0 victory in an exhibition match against the Rockhurst Hawks at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park Tuesday night.

Midfielder Luke Sassano scored the game-winning goal in the 22nd minute and added an assist on Dom Dwyer’s goal in the 34th minute. Jon Kempin collected the shutout in goal while making one save.

Lucas De Rossi led the Hawks with a shot on goal early in the second half.
