Martin Luther King Jr. Interfaith Prayer Service & Service Day

Martin Luther King Jr., Interfaith Prayer Service
Monday, January 20, 2020 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Arrupe Hall Auditorium

Under the theme "Radical Hope," members of the Rockhurst University community will commemorate Martin Luther King Jr.’s commitment to social justice with an interfaith prayer service at 1 p.m. January 20 in Arrupe Hall Auditorium.

Following that, student, faculty and staff volunteers will take part in community service activities at 11 different sites with community partner organizations throughout the Kansas City area, building relationships and diving deeper into social justice issues in a vision of “radical hope” inspired by King’s message. Students, faculty and staff may register to participate in community service activities by signing up at Engage RU.

The interfaith prayer service is free and open to the public.
