Are you curious about how a sister-duo established a nonprofit ice cream shop providing meaningful employment for individuals with developmental disabilities? Or how socks and other accessories can provide hope and positive affirmations? What about how an entrepreneur continues his great-great-great grandfather's legacy of distilling in KC? Or are you interested in learning how a Broadway performer established the first Vietnamese coffee shop in the city during the pandemic?

These Kansas City leaders have the answers to your burning questions about how they got to where they are. Learn from some of the most innovative minds of KC, including:

The Young Alumni Council invites all alumni and friends of the University to an evening at Rockhurst learning from each of our speakers. Presented in a TED Talk format, each speaker will hit on their experiences in the KC makers market.
