Program Description

Rockhurst University offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) – a business degree that arms you with the best in business acumen, leadership expertise and ethical decision-making skills.

Our business administration degree will give you a solid understanding of the role business plays in society – from its history, impact on individuals, economic impact, and the social responsibilities that come along with it. Here, we’re all about real-world experience, real-world examples of business administration and management so that after you graduate, you’ll be able to use these business and managerial skills to do better business.

Bachelor of business administration students complete two innovative sequences as part of the business administration degree core curriculum:

  • Professional readiness sequence
  • Technology and predictive analytics sequence

These sequences were developed by the Helzberg School of Management based on market research and consultation with hiring managers at area companies. We did this because we wanted to make our business degree in Kansas City as appealing as possible to these corporations. You can also pursue Excel certifications as part of your studies – another feather in your cap as you look ahead toward business administration jobs on the horizon.

And we can’t forget to mention one of the most important reasons why you should earn your business degree in Kansas City’s Rockhurst University: The Helzberg School of Management is AACSB accredited. This is the highest level of accreditation and one achieved by only five percent of business schools in the world. A business administration degree from an AACSB-accredited school further differentiates your business management degree, and you, from the pack.
