OT/MA Dual-degree Program

Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management has collaborated with the College of Health and Human Services to offer a dual Master of Occupational Therapy and Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree.

The Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership differs from the MBA by virtue of its deep dive into managing people. We recommend the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership for students who are not interested in quantitative business operations and who plan to grow in influence, responsibility and power in the areas of leadership, human resources, talent development, functional decision-making, human capital and team dynamics.

Paired together, the dual OT/MA degree program provides leadership and management concepts to successfully manage a team, department or organization.

Program Features

  • Program consists of 35 MA in Organizational Leadership credit hours with no prerequisites
  • Most courses are two-credit-hour, eight-week courses that meet one night per week
  • Prepares OT students to lead, manage, and take on administrative roles within the industry
