With flexible evening classes that fit your schedule, the average program completion time is just 15 months. Students select a minimum of 12 credit hours from the following course list:

  • FN 6420: Financial Risk Management (2 credit hours)
  • FN 6320: Mergers and Acquisitions (2 credit hours)
  • FN 6600: Investments (2 credit hours)
  • FN 6410: Venture Capital (2 credit hours)
  • FN 6460: Personal Financial Planning (2 credit hours)
  • AC 6800: Fraud Examination (2 credit hours)
  • Required prerequisite: FN 6310 Financial Strategy and Decision-making. This course can be waived based on prior similar graduate finance coursework.

Certificate Program Information and Requirements

  • No GMAT or GRE scores required
  • Classes begin in January, March, June, August and October, and meet one night per week
  • The certificate requires 12 credit hours of coursework
  • Networking and career services opportunities available to all students

Apply this Certificate Toward a Degree

The Finance Certificate can be a stand-alone credential or the graduate credits may be applied toward a Helzberg MBA.
