ArtOberfest: See Me--Self-Portrait Poetry Workshop ($25)

Explore the theme of portraits at the KC Museum and at the Greenlease Gallery at Rockhurst University to create self-portrait poetry. This half-day workshop is taught by poet Glenn North, director of inclusive learning at the Kansas City Museum. The program begins and ends at the Kansas City Museum, 3218 Gladstone Blvd.

After spending time in the KC Museum, participants will board a bus from the KC Museum and will travel to the Rockhurst University campus to view a temporary exhibition in the Greenlease Gallery that inspires writing and reflection. A box lunch will be served. A bus will return participants to the KC Museum at the end of the workshop (by 3 p.m.). Registration in advance is required and  workshop space is limited. Register here.
