Since Peter Schaffer’s play and film adaptation Amadeus were released, audiences have imagined the dramatic interaction of Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the court of the Austrian emperor Joseph II.  Musica Sacra will perform two works written a few years apart by these two composers: Mozart’s Mass in C Major, KV 258 and Salieri’s Emperor Mass. Live program notes at 6:45 p.m., followed by the performance at 7:30 p.m.
