Mental Health Week Guest Alumni Presentation - Erin Baer, '05

Join visiting alumna author and advocate Erin Baer, '05, entrepreneur and founder of Beaten to Badass, for a special presentation  kicking off Mental Health Week at Rockhurst University. Baer, founder of Beaten to Badass, is herself, a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assaut. Her organization, Beaten to Badass, is dedicated to empowering women to become their own HERO.

Baer's presentation will focus on her personal journey and her mission of helping others navigate the physical and mental challenges of college life and beyond, and learning how our own personal stories can motivate and inspire others.

This event is open to all members of the Rockhurst University campus and local community. There is no charge to attend, but advanced registration is requested.

Erin Baer graduated from Rockhurst University in 2005 with her bachelor's degree in business administration. While at Rockhurst, Baer was a member of the women's golf team, and helped found the student organization P.E.E.R.S (Positiviely Educating Each Rockhurst Student). Baer will be selling copies of her most recent book, The Badass Within, and her original book, From Beaten to Badass. A portion of the proceeds will go back to support the Rockhurst University women's golf program.
