Film Series screening with Dept. of Modern Languages: "Madres Paralelas"

Please join us for FREE a film screening and live discussion of the film “Madres Paralelas" ("Parallel Mothers," 2021) with the Rockhurst University Department of Modern Languages and hosted by Professor Robert Vigliotti. This film, written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, features Penélope Cruz, Milena Smit, and Israel Elejalde who portray a story of two mothers who bond in unexpected way after giving birth on the same day. Leslie Merced, associate professor of Spanish will introduce the film and facilitate a discussion following the screening.
