Biography 

Robert Vigliotti, Ph.D., is an associate professor in philosophy and has been a faculty member of Rockhurst University since 2001. His research interests include phenomenology, Martin Heidegger, philosophy of technology, as well as critical theory. 

Vigliotti has taught courses in these areas and in philosophy of film, existentialism, environmental ethics, philosophy of justice, business and ethics, in addition to others. He has served as the director of the core curriculum since 2017, and on committees related to the core, assessment and Jesuit mission. He is a member of the Humanities and Technology Association and serves as its vice president.
