Anna Lampe graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. and a M.S. in education, specializing in communications, English and theatre arts. She also holds both an MBA in organizational behavior from Rockhurst University and a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Her primary teaching focus is communications and marketing. Lampe teaches undergraduate business courses in leadership and social issues and marketing policy. Graduate level courses taught by Lampe are compass, managerial communications, organizational change and marketing strategy. She also teaches effective communications for managers (DO/MBA). Her research interests lie in corporate culture; Myers-Briggs and corporate communications.
A recipient of numerous awards, Lampe has received the Hallmark Marketing Excellence Award, Bronze Quill Award, Silver Quill Award and the Accredited Business Communicator Award. She is a member of the American Marketing Association, the American Management Association, International Association of Business Communicators and the Junior League of Kansas City, Mo.
