Strategic Communication

Student sits in class.

Program Description

Students in the strategic communication major apply and uniquely develop both human communication and mass communication skills with a goal-oriented approach to understanding communication in interpersonal relationships and the media. They are able to integrate their liberal arts knowledge seamlessly with the major, where students take a variety of communication courses to get a well-rounded, purpose-driven experience. In addition, students take upper-level coursework that supplements their knowledge of communication and further develops their skillset.

Many students will complement this major with a second or third major to enhance their academic experience at Rockhurst.
