About Our Keynote, Bruce Ianni

Bruce Ianni, was awarded Pipeline Innovator of the Year in 2008 for creating a “Google for chemists” through his company, Innovadex.  He and Innovadex headlined as “Looking for revenue in all the right places” alongside 30 other companies including Alibaba, Apple, Baidu, BBC, Bloomberg, Facebook, and Google.  Bruce went on to sell Innovadex in 2012 for an amount that rewarded angel investors with a return of 42 times their initial investment. 

Bruce is currently working to revolutionize the game of basketball through a wearable technology called ShotTracker.  The company's mission is the democratization of "elite-level analytics to all levels of the game."  ShotTracker’s most notable user is NBA All-Star and World Champion, Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. Notable investors include NBA legend, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and NBA Commissioner Emeritus, David Stern.  

About Our Keynote, Matthew Barksdale

Matthew Barksdale is a Kansas City native focused on leveraging technology to help grow companies. After growing a family manufacturing business from $4 million to $14 million in revenue, Matthew decided to focus on the Internet and mobile solutions.

During the last 10 years he has had the opportunity to work in industries ranging from publishing to woodworking to PR and has developed over a hundred digital products utilizing dozens of business models.

Matthew holds a BS from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University. He currently serves as president at Engage Mobile.
